Loans and Credit
Abstract: Credit is an important part of the American economic system. Without it, our economy would come to a screeching halt. However, credit is subject to abuse by both the creditor and borrower. When used wisely, credit is your friend; used unwisely, it can become your worst nightmare. In this lesson plan, you will be introduced to credit and loans -- covering such topics as fair credit practices, how lenders rate your creditworthiness, types of loans made by financial institutions, and the various functions of credit unions.
